Essential elements for a motorcycle trip.

It’s a dream of every motorcyclist to go on an adventure trip. You will feel the freedom and vibration in every single moment. Most of the time after planning for a long time, it does not last in the end. A Motorcycle trip happens suddenly. So always be prepared for any kind of sudden plan. Here are some tips that may help you to get prepared for a trip.

1. Hydration pack

A hydration pack is the priority for avoiding dehydration. Carrying a water bottle is good but when you go on an adventure trip, even if the water bottle is in the bag, it is not always possible to take out the bottle and drink water. The hydration backpack comes with a reservoir bladder that holds a certain amount of water. This blader comes with a long expedient drinking tube so that without stopping the motorcycle a rider can easily sip water while driving because it is hands-free. While riding, place the bladder into your backpack. For easy drinking, bring the bladder tube over your left shoulder and attach it to your bag strap so you just need to lift the helmet glass to drink water when needed. In addition: Keep normal water while driving in cold weather and fill the bladder with ice while riding in hot weather.

2. First aid kit

The most unpredictable thing is an accident. Accidents happen no matter how careful and prepared you are. After crashing a motorcycle you might have serious injury and you have to wait for an ambulance or a rescue team. Where situations are getting worse at that time no one wants to wait for the ambulance instead of trying to do something in the early stage of an accident so that the situation does not get out of control.  Without immediate first aid, the condition can get worse and even lead to death. Carry a decent type of first aid kit for minor injuries like scrapes, breaks, burns, and cuts, if you want you can go for the advance kit. In this stage, you have to learn how to use the first aid kit.

3. Tool kit

To avoid unwanted problems on the road a conscious motorcycle rider should have a tool kit for minor and basic repairs. In motorcycles, we don’t usually get that much space for any extra stuff. So select a tool kit that offers many of the essentials in a small package. A basic tool kit offers tools like screwdrivers, a wrench set, pliers, and a socket set. add to your toolkit some additional and essential elements like Tape, batteries, and zip ties.

4. Kit for flat tires

Flat tires are very irritative when going on a long trip and this happens often. For tubeless tires use a tire plug kit and for the tube carry a patch kit. For additional safety put an extra tube in your backpack it will help you, especially for the tubeless tires if your tire gets cut anyhow. At that moment you have the only choice left to remove the tire, put the tube inside, and then inflate the tire. Practice before attempting otherwise you will fail at it.

5. Navigation

Use a GPS tracker or an old-school map for the right direction. GPS tracker comes in two forms. One is with a battery and the other is a solar GPS tracker. GPS trackers are reliable and it comes with all-weather protection. On a single charge; you can easily run it for 15 days continuously. In addition, you can have an old-school map for backup. In my words, I want to say nothing can be more reliable or beat the old-school map.

6. Communicator

One of the most important things is to keep in constant communication with the other riders in the group. Being connected to the other riders through a communicator helps in safe driving. Riders can easily exchange information with each for out of necessity or can alert other riders about any setback on the road like a broken road, path hole, or any kind of adverse road. Link your communicator with your mobile phone so that you can get almost hands-free access.

7. Gears

To ensure proper safety select the right gear and the weather conditions should also be kept in mind. Safety gears not only protect a motorcycle rider from an accident but also protect from adverse weather. Wear a certified dot-signed helmet, good quality gloves with better grip, Leather or good material jacket and pants, knee and elbow guard, body armor, and good quality boots

8. Equipment for the campaign

For an adventure trip, the most thrilling part is an outdoor campaign. An adventure trip is the best way to enjoy the freedom of a road and a campaign is the most compatible way to discover a new place. Make sure your camping equipment is compact and lightweight so that you can carry it easily. For setting up a camp you need a tent, air pillow, sleeping bag, thermal mat, and basic cooking equipment.

9. Additional packing

Extra motorcycle key, Take some extra cloth, hat, shoes, water purifier, toiletries, baby wipes, toothbrush and toothpaste, towel, mobile charger cable with power bank, tail bags or saddlebags, bungee cords, waterproof covers, soap/shower gel, hand sanitizer, mosquito repellent, water and dry food, pain killer, knife, flashlight, some additional cash and don’t forget your credit card, your own identity and motorcycle papers.
