How to hold a motorcycle shine like new?

Follow the 10 below-mentioned steps to hold your bike shine for edges.

1. Never wash your bike frequently though it depends on how frequently you drive and what environment you are driving in. If you drive in dusty and muddy areas or monsoon weather, wash your bike frequently. Wash your motorcycle once every two weeks. Instead of daily washing your motorcycle use an air blower to flick and use a soft rag to remove dust without even leaving any spots and do the job done gently.

2. Avoid using harsh chemicals for washing your motorcycle. Select the right cleaner according to your motorcycle paint type. Harsh chemicals will fade out your paint soon.

3. Avoid power washing all the time on your motorcycle paint, specifically after applying a cleaning product. Power wash might cause discoloration. After applying a cleaning product, splashing water is the best practice instead of a power wash.

4. Apply wax after every wash. Wax makes the paint shinier and protects the paint from dust, water, and sun.

5. Never park your bike where sunlight is hitting directly or avoid hot places for parking. Always park your motorcycle in the shade. When you park your motorcycle in direct sunlight UV rays will make your motorcycle paint dull and damaged. Recommendation: For the costume paint always try to use UV ray protective paint so that the paint will be sine for a long period.

6. Like the sunlight, try to avoid rainwater. Keep in mind that wherever you park your bike, do not take a bath with rainwater. If it is not urgent, avoid driving in the rain. Raindrop leaves marks on the paint and it can also dull and weaken the paint. Dry out and wipe up your motorcycle as soon as possible.

7. Cover your motorcycle while parked in your garage or outside for a long time. A bike cover will protect your entire bike from sun, water, and dust, and also help to retain shine.

8. Apply Teflon or ceramic coating on the paint. The coating will make your bike paint more glossy for a long period and protect the paint from mild scratches or damage.

9. Fix the Damaged, scratched, or discolored area as soon as possible so that it can not expose more area under damage. Harsh weather may play the role of exposed paint and rust from those damaged areas.

10. Last but not least, Change old or damaged particles of your bike and it will help to get your bike to look newer and repaint your motorcycle if it got washed out or damaged.
